Young D.C. voters in the 2006 midterm elections

According to a study by The Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning & Engagement (aka CIRCLE...a much easier name):

In the 2006 midterm election, 29% of all eligible voters in D.C. ages 18-29 voted.  This is higher than the national average (25%) but lower than in surrounding areas (33% for surrounding counties in Maryland, and 32% for surrounding counties in Virginia.)

Alli, Your blog is looking great! I really like your topic. It's something the Eagle or the Observer might be interested in. As you know your final story must have original material. The best and easiest way to do that is to contact people and interview them on your topic, and then write the story of what you find. Great stuff so far. -Professor Walker
